Terminal 1 - Departures
Bureaux de Change
Two Bureaux de Change in retail shopping area, Travelex open from 05:30 to 22:00, and ICE open 06:00 to 21:00.
Cash Dispensers
Cash dispensers (ATMs) are available both before and after security control. Most cash dispensers will accept UK bank and building society cards without surcharge. They also accept major credit cards.
Food and Drink
Meals, light refreshments and bars are situated in the international departure lounge. There are also many retail shops, electrical stores, jewellers and stationary shops to keep you occupied whilst you wait for your flight.
Information Desk
None on Departures level. Nearest in the Arrivals area on the lower floor.
Internet Access
There is internet access and a wireless hotspot located in the departure lounges, allowing you to enjoy wireless internet access from your laptop.
Left Luggage
Located on a mid floor between Arrivals and Departures. Access by stairs, lift/elevator or up-escalator. Open 06:00 - 23:00, all items £6 per day (or part day).
Luggage Trolleys
Free and plentiful, available on forecourt and occasionally in the Short Stay car parks.
Medical
Heathrow Health Centre (opening hours: 07:00 ? 19:00) is located on the ground floor between terminals 1 and 2 in the Queens Building. There are also a number of pharmacies located before and after security in terminal 1.
Pay Phones
Public telephones are available right through the airport. Telephones for wheelchair users and text phones for the hard of hearing can be found in each terminal. Fax machines are available in the Heathrow Business Centre operated by Travelex.
Postal Services
Mail boxes in Departures area by the entry doors in the middle of the terminal. The nearest Post Office is in Terminal 2.
Smoking Area
Located on the right of the departure lounge, next to Caffé Nero. After security, there is a smoking area in the middle of the airside lounge, as well as at the entrance to Gates 35-56, Gate 2, Gate 5, and Gates 6-8. Smoking is also allowed in some of the airport?s bars and restaurants.
Shopping
There a wide range of shops in the international departure lounge, including clothes shops, electrical outlets, jewellers and cosmetic stores.
Toilets
Male and female toilets, baby care, showers and disabled facilities are located throughout the departures area.
Worship
The airport chapel is located beside the control tower and opposite Terminal 2 car park.
Terminal 1 - Arrivals
Bureaux de Change
There is a Travelex Bureau de Change in the Baggage Reclaim area (open 05:30 to 22:00) and two Travelex (open 05:30 to 22:00) and one ICE (open 06:00 to 21:00) Bureau de Change in the Arrivals meeting area.
Cash Dispensers

Parking
Access to Arrivals car park 1 is directly across the Arrivals forecourt. For Departure car park 1A go upstairs to the Departures level and cross to the covered walkway. There are Car Park payment machines on the Arrivals level.
Car Rental
Major companies have desks in the newly completed section of the Arrivals area
Taxi
Taxi rank on Arrivals forecourt as you leave the terminal.
Train
The London Underground and Heathrow Express stations are reached from the Arrivals floor. Follow the signs.
Bus services
Some bus services leave from the Arrivals forecourt, but most go from the Central Bus Station. Follow the signs. There is a bus pick-up Information desk on the Arrivals - includes coach & train information

Bus Services
    The Airbus links Heathrow Terminals with many London hotels and some main line rail stations.
    Departures every 20 - 30 minutes, journey time around 60-75 minutes.
    Fare: £6 one way, £10 round trip.

  • The Airbus A1 serves Victoria rail station via several London hotels.
    The first service departs Terminal 3 at 05:40, the last at 20:25.
    The first departures from Terminals 1 and 2 are at 06:43 and 06:47 respectively. The last service departs Heathrow around 20:35.
  • The Airbus A2 serves Russell Square via Euston rail station and also drops off at some West End hotels.
    First departures are 05:30 from Terminal 3, 06:58 from Terminal 2 and 07:02 from Terminal 1. Last departure around 21:20.
  • The Airbus direct serves many central London destinations from Terminal 4 with additional services from Terminals 1, 2 and 3.

  • There are bus services to Reading station for rail services to the West and to Woking station for train services to the South-west.
  • Scheduled bus and coach services run to major towns and cities throughout the UK from the central Bus Station. There is pedestrian access to the bus station from Terminals 1, 2 and 3. Connections are also available to London Gatwick, Luton and Stansted airports.
  • There is an all night bus service from Heathrow to central London.
