London's Gardens - Primrose Hill

Primrose Hill : The 61 acre grassy hill has fantastic views over London. It has become increasingly popular with the young and the famous. It's a great place to stroll through. Having climbed the steep slopes and admired the views you can regain your strength in one of the many cafés around the place. Keep an eye open for celebrities wandering around.

This grassy hill has a children's playground and an outdoor gymnasium.  The gymnasium has been here since Victorian times and now has a large choice of exercise equipment.

Primrose Hill was once part of a great chase appropriated by Henry VIII. Later, in 1841, it became Crown property and in 1842 an Act of Parliament secured the land as public open space. The built up part of Primrose Hill consists mainly of Victorian terraces.

It is one of the most exclusive and expensive residential areas in London
